
SAN FRANCISCO STARBUCKS ACHIEVES LEED GOLD
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is awarded by the
United States Green Building Council to commercial interiors that meet high
standards for energy efficiency and sustainable design. With the assistance of
Arktegräf, Inc. and Encon Engineering the renovated
Starbucks, located at the corner of Mariposa and Bryant in San Francisco, is the
first Starbucks in California to achieve LEED Gold certification in Commercial
Interiors. Attending the plaque hanging ceremony on March 23rd were Emily
Hester, Architect, LEED AP and Jeff Peterson, Architect LEED AP.
