TAÄST
ARKTEGRÄF discovered a long time ago
that there is a big, wide world of Architecture and Interior Design to
experience out there; “experience” being the operative word. Sure, all of our
Associates see the glossy professional photographs of the latest high-profile
projects in the industry publications, but there’s nothing like experiencing
those same projects firsthand in real life and real time. So, we decided that
each year we should get out of town for a few days and expand our design
perceptions. Thus, TAÄST was conceived, The
Annual Arktegräf Spring Trip. Over the years we have traveled to cities
coast-to-coast, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, Chicago, Boston,
Portland, Seattle, Atlanta, and Washington D.C. to name a few, in search of the
famous, the beautiful, the awe-inspiring, the obscure, and sometimes the just
downright cleverest projects we could find. And if that wasn’t enough, one of
the TAÄST highlights is always the visit to
a selected local design firm for a meet-and-greet, see what’s in the works, and
have a meaningful exchange of some of the trials and tribulations of our
profession. We always have a great collective experience and return truly
inspired and sometimes humbled by the projects and people we’ve encountered.
